Do you people just love being mad for the sake of being mad or are you THAT brain-dead?
Because tell me why do you think that lyrics of a song always have to be artist's past experience or feelings. Because tell me why are you taking the most obviously staged video at face value? Because TELL ME WHY you can't recognize satire anymore?
No seriously. There might even be a #satire in the caption and the creator's account clearly stating they're a comedian but their dopamine fried brains don't seem to comprehend the concept of entertainment content or story telling/symbolical art.
Not to mention the people who use tiktok as a search engine for ANYTHING. The same mfs who - as it seems - can't go to google to ask an extremely simple question and would just rather make a fool out of themselves and ask it in the comments.. therefore having to wait longer?? Make it make sense.
All they do is doomscroll to try and find something to wrap their whole personality around for the next week, not even trying to consume the media they claim to love.
This results in fandoms being flooded with literal larpers, which ruins the community for real fans. This solely is why gatekeeping is still needed, not for ANY new fans, but for those who aren't willing to actually consume the media and spend their time trying to impress others instead.
Sorry for a small crashout chat but this shit is driving me NUTS
